WHO SHOULD ATTEND & WHY?

All persons elected or appointed to a Chapter 723 HOA Board of Directors after October 1, 2016, or who may be a candidate for election to the Board must complete a Division Approved educational curriculum within one year before, or 90 days after the date of election or appointment; or execute an affidavit in accordance with F.S. 723.0781. Failure to comply with the above will result in suspension from service on the Board. All Homeowners, including current Board members, officers & negotiation committee members are also invited and encouraged to attend.

Class subjects required by the DBPR will include

  • HOA Rights & Duties
  • Elections
  • Financial Reporting
  • HOA Operation
  • Records & Access
  • Dispute Resolution
  • HOA Formation

Handouts for the above items will be included in a bound handbook, along with a copy of F.S. 723,  for you to keep.
You will receive your Certificate of Completion following the training.

  • Lunch will not be provided.
  • Coffee & Donuts will be served.
  • Certificates WILL NOT be handed out until the end of Seminar
  • Car Pooling is  recommended.
